1. Interpretation
1a. For the purpose of this document, the following words shall have the following
meanings:
1b. MCA represents Medical Conferences Australia Pty Ltd, AMPED Medical Conferences, AMPED Emergency & Medical Conferences, and Niseko Mental Health Conferences; the staff and agents.
1c. The word, “event” represents either a conference or a workshop.
1d. The words, “registrant or delegate” refers to any person who has paid a registration fee to attend an event organised by MCA.
1e. The words, “terms and conditions” means the terms and conditions of supply, set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing.
2. Event Registration and Cancellation
2a. Conference registration entitles a delegate to attend all academic sessions and social functions of that particular event organised by MCA.
2b. Conference registration cancellations that occur up to 90 days prior to the commencement of a conference, will receive a full refund with AU$100.00 being deducted for administrative fees.
2c. Conference registration cancellations that occur less than 90 days prior to the commencement of the conference will be non-refundable.
2d. Early Bird Accommodation Deals and Specials are exclusively reserved for conference registrants.
2e. It is a condition that each ‘Early Bird’ room booked must have at least one paying registrant staying in the room.
2f. Registration must be paid with 5 business days to MCA when an ‘Early Bird’ room has been booked and confirmed by SkiJapan.com.
2g. SkiJapan.com has the right to cancel an Early Bird Accommodation Deal booking if a deposit is not made within the time frame given by Ski.Japan.com, or if registration payment is not made to MCA within 5 days business days following a booking and confirmation.
2h. It is strongly recommended that registrants take out the appropriate travel insurance to cover all aspects of their journey, including registration cancellation, immediately after booking. This includes the activities that they plan to engage in while they are away.
2i. Program Topics: Although all attempts will be made to cover the topics listed on the website and other documents, MCA shall not be liable if some of the topics were not covered.
3. Liability
3a. MCA shall not be liable under any circumstances to the delegate or any third party for any injury, loss or damage suffered whilst attending a MCA event or all other activities outside the event hours, whether it is indirect or consequential loss of profit or other loss suffered howsoever caused, as a result of any negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise.
4. Force Majeure
4a. MCA shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, lock outs, accidents, war, acts of terror, fire, natural disasters, pandemic illness, strikes, border controls etc.
